Senate please. America’s barely ready for a liberal straight white Christian man.
Good God, it’s about time.
I like her, but she has zero shot of winning a presidential election.
I’ll vote for her in either spot without question, but there is zero fuckin chance she wins the presidency. It ain’t happening in this shitbag country and people have got to just deal with it.
Even if the Democrats win in 2028, it’s hard for me to imagine we won’t be back on the road to fascism in four years without an actual progressive like AOC in office.
Senate. We have lost elections the last two times a woman ran. Democrats have to take the White House back next election. We have to unite under Newsom.
The writing on the wall is clear: we either drag the troglodytes into an AOC presidency, forcing them to confront the Trumpism they’ve embraced, or we end up with a milquetoast Democrat who might undo only a fraction – – maybe 25% – – of the damage Trump has caused.
Please please let her on the debate stage.
I think the issue with her and the presidency is that she’s in the same kind of position that Hillary was in. She’s had a right wing smear campaign in high gear against her for years. She has a real challenge changing people’s minds because a lot of them are already made up on her. I think she would have a better career in the senate because I just don’t think she can win nationally.

Not the presidency. Please… not the presidency. I love AOC… but Democrats just cannot win with a woman. America is way too misogynistic to do that. And progressive voters aren’t a big enough voting bloc to make it happen. Senate… yes. Take out Schumer. Take out Gillibrand. But not the White House… yet.
Whether you love her or not, AOC shaking things up is exactly what this political climate needs. Ready to see this play out!
Clinton, fail.
Harris, fail.
Dems, let’s run AOC for pres!
Also dems, we can’t figure out what we’re doing wrong…
If all the people saying “I like her but she can’t win” just to vote for her in the primary then what will happen is…
She won’t win the primary, but she’ll get such a large percentage of the vote that whoever does win the primary has to make her a substantial part of their cabinet if they win, and build a lot of policy around what her constituents care about. That’s what happened in 2020 with Bernie, people are frustrated that he didn’t win but Biden absolutely altered his platform as a result of the support Bernie had.
That’s how primaries work, it’s the best opportunity for people to express the direction they want for the party.
Senate. Get cuck Schumer out of there!
Everyone saying she can’t win might be right, but also might be underestimating how detrimental the establishment democrats have been.
Yes, there are some people who won’t vote for a woman. Many people.
But there might be more people who have been screwed by billionaires and are down on their luck and who have been turning to the empty promises of Trump etc.
The type of person who likes Trump AND Bernie exists
Senate! Schumer gotta go
Please run for senate. We need to get some of the old school dems out of here.
Why does everyone say she has zero chance of winning the presidential election.. Cause shes a woman? She is anti establishment as it gets and thats what matters
What she has a low chance of winning is the Dem Nomination. It’s gone Hillary/Biden/Biden the last 3 times that says it all
She’ll destroy Schumer for sure. Her place is in the senate
She should but she’ll never win. Americans are too stupid and bigoted.
Moderates own the Democratic Party. You can’t in the Democratic Party without them.
Sounds nice but it won’t happen.
I have a good opinion of AOC, but while senator is a possibility this article implies she hasn’t learned that American misogyny precludes any woman from election to the presidency.
She has my vote, and I think some time in the senate would tee her up very nicely for a presidential bid. Unfortunately I think our dumbass racist, sexist country needs a middle of the road white male as the dem nominee if we’re going to take it back.
I’d like to see her be a Senator for a term or two.
No one is going directly from the House to the Presidency, let alone a minority.
She needs to win a statewide election. She’s 35. There’s plenty of time for her to keep ascending.
