It’s a kind of soft diplomacy. We won’t mind you dressing up as a leprechaun, getting drunk and fighting if you regard us favourably, send investment and tourists our way and let us have a bit of craic over your way too.
I think we get the better end of the deal because it’s not us wearing the stupid hat.
Reminds me of how funny South Park is. So many clever lines.
Leprechauns don’t exist, so how is it cultural appropriation?
(I am 99.9% sure they don’t exist, but not willing to sign a contract on it…)
Is this the one where he said St Patrick’s day is the only holiday white people have left that they can celebrate without being ashamed, or something along those lines. Lol. Is that more a commentary about America than celebrating Irish culture? Idk.
I’m not bothered if South Park takes the piss out of us here in Ireland. Honestly I never cared if Americans celebrated our culture. They’re welcome to celebrate it/adopt it.
I think yanks need to realise that Irish American culture is not the same as Irish culture

What does he say?
Edit: I feel this is going to be some nonsense about cultural appropriation and how the Irish are fine with it or something.
Or it’s commercialisation and we forget the true meaning of st paddy’s day.
Am I close?
No dialog, no sound, no idea?
If anybody gets offended by the likes of South Park, family guy , little Britain etc. Then you my friend are boring!
Satire
Couldn’t care less, love South Park but this episode sucked and not cause of it being Paddy’s day. This season hit and miss, episode 1 was best
