2. Let’s also let reform talk policy, because they have none and need to be called out for it.

3. If the press gave them any meaningful coverage when they spoke about their policies then perhaps they would. On the times podcast a few months ago they were saying what a mystery it was that the Lib Dem’s don’t get more coverage given the number of seats they have, as if they don’t make that fucking decision. Basically the times going “why do we decide not to cover them, such a mystery, if only we knew why we do the things we do”.

5. If they ditch the stunts, there wouldn’t even be this article about them. It’s incredible how little coverage the media give them, while the BBC has Farage on ten times a day.

8. I only ever hear about him when he does do a stunt. If the media guarantee coverage just off what he says, sure.

9. it’s an attention economy. the media will only focus on political controversy as their job is to pump that engagement, which mostly involves being awful, incompetent or both. it’s why reform are perfect for out media landscape. even without billionaire thumbs on the scales, they generate clicks by being a clown car full of hate. no one’s going to rage at each other over the dry minutiae of liberal policy
