Maybe they are from Bavaria? I mean, why not?
It’s just the State Flag of Bavaria and could mean anything from these guys celebrating Oktoberfest (which opened two days ago) to them hosting an exchange student and wanting to be nice.
Royal family?
If they return home and manage to pull the sword from the beer stein they can finally claim the throne and free us from Maggus the Usurper!
Just the flag. Some bavarians are a little too proud.
