*On the Day of Hungarian Drama, September 21, the Loupe Theatre Company announced a peaceful demonstration at Heroes’ Square, standing up for free public spaces, clean public discourse, and clean air.*
*According to the plans, the program will begin at half past five in the evening and last for about an hour and a half. From the very beginning, the organizers emphasized that this is a stance outside party politics, therefore they asked all participants to leave party flags and banners at home.* [*24.hu*](http://24.hu)
Despite the fact that no political force is behind the demonstration, a very large crowd has gathered. The main reason that angered and upset people is the Orbán government’s years, almost a decade and a half of deceitful and hate-inciting communication, along with the continuous, equally misleading billboard campaigns. (The last straw was a poster portraying the opposition leader, Péter Magyar, as an egg next to another egg symbolizing President Zelensky.)
The organizers condemn this incitement of hatred, want to put an end to it, and call for the removal of such billboard campaigns. This is where the name “clean public discourse, clean public spaces” originates.
Yeah, Fidesz has started their hate campaign against “the stinkbugs” again. And this time they employ the usage of AI. Its surreal to see how shitty and downright pathetic their ads are nowadays.
Its againts hate on billboards and such. Which Orban spends a fortune on. Tasteless disgusting propaganda especially again Peter Magyar the opposition leader but also againts Ukraine, Zelenszkij and the EU itself.
This warms my heart. I love this part of Budapest, and the Vajdahunyad castle in the back.
I’m proud of every Hungarian European who still has some resistance in them, even after this long Fidesz drought.
Much love from Berlin, Germany. You got this <3
The Antifa, I guess ☝️🤣
One of the motives behind this protest was the death of Lt. Col. Zsolt Szabó, Commissioner of the Hódmezővásárhely Police.
