The head of the European Union delegation to Libya has welcomed Malta’s new ambassador to Tripoli.
In a post on X on Sunday, EU Ambassador Nicola Orlando congratulated Franklin J. Aquilina on his appointment.
Orlando said he looked forward to strengthening cooperation, stressing the importance of working as a “united European team” to support the partnership between Libya and the EU.
