  1. I’m only working until Wednesday this week so I’m feeling great knowing my week will be nice and short.

  2. All I can think about is having a nap on a Saturday afternoon. Just got the small matter of a full working week.

  3. Got a full week ahead in the office. My colleague will be back from his holiday, so will undoubtedly want to talk my ear off. He’s so lovely but sometimes I just yearn for silence….

  4. Just home from nights, I’ve got my fleece PJ’s on and a dog cuddle to keep me warm. It was cold at work last night, I put my knock off oodie on and hunkered down. We do have central heating but it’s crap, I didn’t put it on. We won’t be putting our heating on just yet at home but we may have a coal fire now and then.

    I’ve set my alarm for 11.30 because I’m taking my dog to scent class, then we may go for a walk. I’m definitely getting back into bed when we get home.

    I should be on the evening shift later, but I’ve swapped with a colleague so we can go to a talk by David Coulthard and Kimmi Räikkönen.

  7. Woke up and found that my oldest hoya I’ve had for 5 years has finally put out its first flower peduncle. So happy.

  8. Waking up 5 days a week to go somewhere I don’t want to go. Mornings suck like shit I hate them I hate life.

  9. First day back at work after my leave. It feels a bit odd going back to work and adjusting to ordinary life again after having buried my dad a couple of weeks ago. I’m sure it’ll settle as time goes on.

  12. I binged Neon Genesis Evangelion at tbe weekend so motivation is a little low to say the least 😂 but it’s time for the first work hot chocolate of the year so that’s nice.

  13. It’s a gorgeous autumn morning here in North Yorkshire, the car has dinged at me telling me there’s a risk of ice so summer is officially over. Currently waiting for the garage to open so I can get the car’s oil changed and then a day of admin and dealing with somewhat feral children

  15. Ahhhhh yas, enjoying the first frosty morning because it means I can break out my good woollen overcoat. Fucking loving it lads. Plus I got my hair sorted yesterday and am rocking a very respectable mullet.

  16. Got lots done over the weekend but still felt it went too fast.

  18. I’m more tired than I’ve been in weeks today, which is really frustrating. At work and can barely keep myself awake.

  19. Slept bad. Brain fried. Work in 13 mins (from home, still gonna be late), got to arrange an expensive vet trip later on zero money.

    Slept half the night on my toddlers floor because she paradoxically sleeps worse after not balling during the day so I’m a bit stiff and achy but not too bad. She also corrected me on LOTR lore for the first time this morning, she asked for Pippin from her figurines and I gave her Merry coz it’s early and they look very similar. She went “ah, no” and grabbed the right one. I’m very proud of her

  21. On Saturday I hand delivered my CV to 6 local businesses because I really really need a job. So now I’m waiting for someone to contact me.

    I think I made a slight mistake with the address on one of the envelopes but it should be OK because I know I delivered it to the right place.
