  10. This just in Tylenol is effective in reducing most pain but is ineffective in reducing pain from having to listen to Trump and maga’s stupidity on a daily basis.

  19. Autism first described in 1911. Tylenol first introduced in 1955. Tylenol (acetaminophen) usage flat for many years. autism rates slowly increasing mostly due to awareness. It doesn’t correlate with vaccinations nor acetaminophen usage rates.
    This is all an effort to deny comfort to pregnant women since it’s the only safe efficacious pain medication for all stages of pregnancy.

  23. Correlation is not causation. If there is a link, which the study isn’t solid on, it’s more likely something like: taking Tylenol to lower a fever or something which meant the baby was getting inflammation or immune factors at a sensitive period of development. Besides, Tylenol is practically the only thing they will let you take when you are pregnant. So women might be using it to relieve something they would normally take, and that underlying condition might be the risk factor for autism. Or it could all just be static! What sucks is Tylenol is practically all they will give you when pregnant, if they take that away, pregnancy is just going to become even more painful.

  29. Aside from the fact that autism was “discovered” decades before Tylenol was:

    Nearly every pregnant woman has taken acetaminophen at some point during their pregnancy since it’s really the only safe OTC pain reliever to take, so theoretically we would all have autism. But we don’t. Because this is complete bullshit.

  31. The fucking idiots have discovered the cause of autism in a mere 4 months, when scientists have been chasing this for 30+ years. That shows you what MAGA quacks can do when unleashed. And the culprit is: Tylenol. Not acetaminophen. The brand name, Tylenol. That should give us all a sense of confidence about worm-brain’s pronouncements.

  35. The sole cause of me having given birth to two autistic children is my husband being autistic not me taking Tylenol. I understand wanting answers when your kid is autistic. It’s how my husband ultimately ended up being evaluated and late diagnosed because he realized he and our son were a lot alike. Pseudo science clutching at straws blaming Tylenol and vaccines isn’t the answer. It’s either inherited or a de novo mutation. My 82 year old mother in law is likely autistic herself. She has a lot of the same traits as my daughter. 2 out of her 4 children were late diagnosed, a third child is probably autistic and 4 out of 5 grandchildren are diagnosed.

  39. Remember a few months back, how the admin pushed to replace corn syrup with cane sugar in Coca-Cola, and they caved? Turns out that a longtime friend of Trump and neighbor to Maralago is a sugar baron by the name of Pepe Fanjul.

    My point is, it makes one wonder what incentive they have to go after Tylenol. There’s ALWAYS a way that their actions will benefit them financially. It’s just a matter of connecting the dots.

  41. The fact that they are saying Tylenol and not Acetaminophen shows how dumb they are.

  42. Too funny! Until J&J sues Trump & RFK, Jr to Hell and back because Tylenol didn’t become available to the public until 13 yrs after autism was officially listed as a condition. But even still, most of the folks who are on autistic spectrum have it because of inherited genetic mutations that run in families.

    This is either Trump being dementia stupid or using this to distract people from the Epstein files because the CK thing blew up in his face big time.
