  1. Let me put it this way. I was going to help a person get a loan for a house that was worth $100K. We looked at financing and closing costs with title search, closing, inspection, loan costs was $20K. The cost the lenders are everyone trying to close on the house is extremely high for starter homes. I can say I have a job, and I am stuck at home. We can’t afford much. Yes, my air conditioning went out on Friday, and was able to pay someone to fix it via emergency fund. Increases in Food and Insurance costs are my biggest issues.
