Limburg.net rant: you cannot contact them unless you consented to all cookies (including marketing ones). [Left: required cookies only] [Right: consent to all cookies]

  2. Seems like the issue is on your side, not general.

I refused all cookies, the button is still available for me.

  3. That might just be a misconfiguration or bug on their end and not on purpose. I see it’s a Drupal, there is a module that can block Javascript based on accepted cookies or something if I recall (for example don’t show embedded tweets unless those cookies were accepted because embedding tweets requires a bunch of cookies from Twitter) so it is *possible* it is on purpose but it feels more likely they attached that script to the wrong category or that script is also doing a bunch of marketing stuff and they forgot it is also used for these types of forms.

I also found this page (https://limburg.net/tijdelijke-testpagina-nieuw-meldingen-form) when just searching for the word “melding”, didn’t even see the page you’re on at all so Hanlon’s razor comes to mind: “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”

  4. I contacted them yesterday, after rejecting all non essential cookies…
