  1. My latest: The “operational meeting” will take place after around 3:30 p.m. Moscow time (8:30 a.m. ET) amid heightened tensions between Moscow and [NATO](https://www.newsweek.com/topic/nato) after Estonia and Poland both requested Article 4 consultations over what they said were major violations of their airspace by Russia.

  2. Time to announce “mission accomplished”and head home?

  3. “All those years, I only tried to compensate something, I’m so sorry” ?

  4. Putin is a warmongering child murderer and he can shove his “important statements” up his ass.

  5. We have run out of vodka and surrender. Only important in his mind.

  6. My bowels have just made some important statements. 9/10, can recommend.

  7. And here we go for more redlines and “strong assertions about nuclear arsenal”… */Yawn*

  8. Given his track record, an “important statement” from Putin usually means more escalation, not less. Probably announcing the annexation of more Ukrainian territory or threatening NATO directly. Hope I’m wrong.

  9. Hes going to admit he’s into golden showers and young men?

  10. “My fellow Russians, I’m pleased to tell you today that I’ve signed legislation that will outlaw Ukraine forever. We begin bombing in five minutes.”

“…how is that different than what we have been doing so far?”

    “Window”

  11. He is going to either threaten somebody (if you put nukes in Poland we will attack, if you deploy additional defences in the Baltics we will attack, if you build an anti-drone wall we will attack, etc) or announce that Modi has agreed to go wrestle with the US orange baboon over who get to suck his more. The match will take place in Alaska again.

  12. It’s very disturbing that even in EU countries there is no shortage of people who support him. More and more countries are electing Putin-friendly governments.

  13. Maybe Nuclear threats?

But aren’t they due only every second Wednesday?

  14. Will he tell us about the history of Ukraine again?

  15. “Kremlin says …”

I stop listening immediately to lies and propaganda.

  16. He could announce full mobilisation and blame it on NATO. That could also be the reason why they stepped up the airspace violations lately. But I hope that won’t be the case.

  17. Announcing sth. before it is said means that it is not important but you want attention anyway.
He’ll tell NATO not to shoot at his jets flying into NATO area, war otherwise — for propaganda reasons.

  18. Important statements meaning the same threats over and over. We don’t care puțin (a little in Romanian), if you dare, moscova will burn in less than a week.

  19. He’s going to announce the new flavour Chapstick Trump is going to use because his dick always smells like strawberry and he is more of a vanilla guy.

  20. Intervision Song Contest 2025 must be repeated due to a new russian contender, putin.

  21. West is bad, it wasn’t our fault, they forced us, blah blah blah… anglo-saxons

  22. That he’s had an organ transplant and will now live forever so give up and put your weapons down or else.

  23. Will announce a ceasefire whilst nuking most of Ukraine that morning..

  24. him and trump having a baby? or shall I say ‘sharing’?
