After reading (and being told) about them, I decided to make my Welsh girlfriend a love spoon for her birthday. She’s super proud of her heritage and I wanted to be able to give her something that reflected that and my feelings towards her. It’s my first time making anything with wood and I know it could defo be improved but I’m pretty happy with it!
(Also the stone inside is from a beach we went to when I visited her in Wales for the first time)

Stealing this idea if I ever get a girlfriend.
Better than my boyfriend’s version – cheap wooden cooking spoon from Asda – drawn cute animals using a sharpie. It made me laugh though
