  12. I have enough faith in Kimmel as a person to believe he didn’t fold and won’t make some ridiculous apology…..But this happened awfully fast. Were the people dropping streaming services enough to scare them?

  13. I canceled our next Disney trip ($1400) and I canceled Disney+ when they went along with destroying our right to freedom of speech as Americans.

    They will not be getting any more money from us in the future regardless of what they tried to backpedal on or do.

    No, there is something they could do that would make me go back to Disney properties, create a 24 hour channel dedicated to pointing out the lies and crimes the Trump administration has been doing. It would be at least a month before they actually had to repeat what they started with and even then, it would be new lies and crimes sprinkled in every day that the Trump administration continues committing crimes and telling lies.

  14. I’d wait to see whether he’s had his wings clipped in the back room talks that bought the show back. Maybe Disney caved, maybe he’s been forced to accept boundaries. No way of knowing just yet.

    If only they chose to engage in conversation first instead of reactively canning the show right away. They could’ve said something like” In the spirit of Charlie, we are choosing to engage in dialogue before making a final decision on the future of this program”.

    Instead, now they’re backpedaling trying to save face because they bent the knee without any thought.

  21. They’re just doing this to cut their financial losses. They’ve lost billions of dollars because of their censorship. They don’t care about free speech. They just care about making money.
