Why is the “W” in Twint uppercase?
Did you recieve the money to your twint or to your bank account?
Ignore and let her bank/twint handle the issue.
Zurückzahlen, würde ich es.
Contact your bank and say the payment was received in error and that you’re happy to reverse it. Do not TWINT the money back yourself.

Her issue if she doesn‘t protect her banking better.
So you did actually receive the money in your account via Twint and you have verified that by checking your own Twint app and online banking? As far as I‘m aware, there’s no way to recall Twin transactions once they’ve been booked. Hence, there shouldn’t be any risk for you if you just send it back. However, make sure to send it to the number that actually made the payment as shown in your own Twin app, not some other number you‘re being contacted from. If you want to be extra safe maybe contact your bank / Twint customer support first.
Probably scam, contact your bank
Say thank you and that’s it.
At least I’d wait a week or two. If the money’s still there, I’d send it back (or contact your bank). Twint transactions are generally not refundable and this is actually the recommended method to get the money back. I recently had a typo in the number I sent money to and had to ask for it back this way too. I could’ve probably also gotten it back through the bank though.
Most likely a scam. How it works is that the money was stolen from somewhere else, and when you transfer it back, the original victim will issue a chargeback, and you will lose the same amount again.
It smells like a scam although it’s difficult to say what exactly is the goal. I would ignore and block.
If you receive money from twint, you can safely send the money back to the exact same number via the exact same method.
The bank will make you contact twint, twint will make you contact the bank or the sender. It’s a waste of time.
Think about it: if it’s a scam.. where is the scam? If the exact same amount changes hands between the exact same numbers (people), there is no gain on either side.
It is extremely odd tho, the kids went to twint to send money to a random number (I assume you dont know the person), with a “random text”?
Edit: oh, and if she called you, you can call her back under the same number to make sure the number is not spoofed (if so, you will end up speaking with someone else, or hear a sound that the number is not taken) – not that it matters for twint transactions.
And when inspecting the first screenshot more closely: The recipient (you) is saved as “TWint”, the most likely explanation is that the person fat-fingered the name and the number, tried to actually buy a carpet, sent the money, the actual recipient didnt get the money, they realized their mistake and cant be bothered to accept it, so they make up a lie to not look stupid in front of a stranger.
