  1. You seen the price gouging that goes on at Disney destinations?

You’d have to be a privileged virtue-signaling idiot to pay that

  2. Americans are too poor to go to Disney World. The economy is collapsing thanks to the numerous failures of capitalism.

  3. Theme parks are finished for the same reason that cruise ships & Las Vegas are finished: normal people don’t want to pay good money to be around ghetto behavior.

  4. Ah yes the mirror quoting one random TikToker and spreading doom. If visitors are down by 11% that still means you have long ass waits in line. Also school just started. September is one of the slowest months at Disney.

  5. I’m American, and Disney is only just lower middle class aspirational for vacations. The lower middle class is falling away and Florida is consistently disgusting every time you’re not standing in a beach. That’s before all of the repugnant state laws and backward local ‘culture’. Stew in your own sweaty juice, losers.

  6. I don’t fear tourism is finished in Florida, I’m pretty indifferent about it actually.

  7. The article said that there has been a slight increase in tourism in Florida, in the slow down at Disney could be for other reasons my construction.

  8. The Mirror piece is tabloid-level hype. Epic Universe did just open in Orlando, and it’s shiny enough that some families are choosing it over Disney for their next trip. But the idea that Disney World is “empty” is way overstated.

Real crowd data (wait times, on-the-ground reports) shows that Disney is still pulling plenty of guests. Some lines are shorter in certain parks or rides, but it’s not ghost-town territory. Plus, Disney has gotten better at managing traffic, so even “off days” don’t always look as slammed as pre-COVID peak.

  9. Before you read this article google “is the Mirror a reputable news source?”

  10. We discussed going (Disneyland though) this year now the kids are old enough to appreciate it. But looking at prices we decided to go to Lego land instead.
