Is this a new scam?

  1. Message coming from an Indonesian number, obviously translated to Luxembourgish with Google Translate. What do you think it could be, other than a scam?

  2. It’s a scam, got the same message from a different number. The numbers are spoofed. Delete it and don’t answer. It’s probably a try to lure victims into an investment scam.

  3. Very obviously real. I mean she just went to Indonesia, and kind of forgot Luxembourgish. And the link looks a bit dubious- a pure coincidence!

  4. I got two at the same time, one male and one female.

Nice to see such sexual fluidity from our spammers these days

  5. I replied now we’ve got a date! I just had to give her my bank details as she left her card in Malawi but that’s no problem, happy to help people in need.

  6. Ah… we lux people are so privileged. We complain about how nobody knows luxemburgish but there is one advantage: google translate magic doesn’t work at all on us. That means we can’t be scamed because no one is going to bother investing in proper translation in order to be able to scam at best 600k people.
