Fuck Orban, but lets be clear:
It looks like that every other European nation is getting out of russian oil as fast as possible anyway.
So, an officlal EU ban would ofc be better but the effects of such a ban are *mostly* happening anyway.
Hungary ain’t rejecting the ban only for the damage on the economy guys, don’t be fooled.
They are rejecting it cause Orban, the leader of Hungary (and far right Conservative asshole) has been in kahoots with Putin for a long time (thanks to him if he got to be leader), now he’s rejecting the sanctions cause he doesn’t want to make his Master angry and lose his position.
In this case, EU and NATO should take serious measures, an EU country is going against a common decision against Russia.
I mean it is the same in Slovakia. Banning is maybe nice idea, but fucking over poor countries even more is not smart. I think there is agreed 2 year delay for Slovakia and Hungary.
And Medvegyev just praised him for it… Such a nice lapdog.
Fucking traitor.
Let us not forget that Hungary and Poland was best buddies until 24. Feb. 2022, and it was mentioned more than once that Poland would protect Hungary in the EU and vs. Remember the Visegrád Group 😉
I’m not sure that Poland will do that anymore, but politics is a kind of a weird thing.
