err ok, the article fails to mention that affluent Northern areas in parts of Cheshire are very different to deprived areas of Greater Manchester, parts of Salford for example. Also a lot of Labour MPs in London, who are seemingly absent from the whole of the Home Counties
The south east needs independence. Constantly having this debate, bad feelings on both sides, incompatible business social and cultural differences, it’s just all too much.
