Air France-KLM and Scandinavian Airlines have expanded their partnership with additional codeshare flights, the carriers announced Tuesday. Air France has added its code to SAS-operated nonstop transatlantic flights to U.S. cities via Scandinavian hubs.

The new codeshare routes include those from Copenhagen to each Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C. Additional codeshare routes include those between Stockholm and each Miami and Newark, as well as between Oslo and each Newark and New York.

Air France-KLM announced in July its intent to take a majority stake in SAS, with the deal expected to close the second half of 2026. SAS on Sept. 1, 2024, joined the SkyTeam airline alliance, of which Air France-KLM is a member. That date is also when initial codeshare and interline agreements between the companies went into effect, as well as reciprocal loyalty benefits.
