In reference to the median wealth post from earlier, I created a new table showing the wealth inequality (in a very simplified way by dividing the mean by the median)

As some others discussed in the referenced post, there were surprising results with some normally considered ‘wealthy’ countries like my home country Germany. By sorting the data by the percentual difference of mean and median wealth, the situation becomes much clearer.
Basically, most people in Germany are less wealthy than people in Italy, Spain, Netherlands etc. However, we have some few rich folks who are much, much richer.
**Mean:** The average number (i.e. you take 1000, 100 and 1, and you get 367).
**Median:** The literal number in the middle (i.e. – 100).
I’m still not convinced about the quality of the data, Czechia + 228%, Slovakia +48%
Jesus christ…. Romania’s median is just 100 US dollars below Czechia? Have you ever been to Romania?
The quality of the data is absolutely not adequate. But OPs assumptions are far behind ridiculous and honestly, ignorant.
EDIT: Wow, based on this data is median worth in China higher than in Czechia… I am done. This is so extremely off, I cannot belive it. I never knew there are 500 milion Chinese as rich as Czechs….. I wonder why do they work in suchy a shitty conditions if they have so much money. I am literally in shock how bad the education in Germany is and how ignorant can some people, living in extremely rich countries, be.
Whatever the indicator, we’re always in the top 😎

so in all cases, mean > Median.

Now compare this with home ownership rates.
