Adverts in the video say coming 2025. Not happening.
Also these are now built and on test on the real network. Let’s see some actual footage inside the real thing, not Siemens old CGI
needs more luggage spaces imo. gets very annoying when people clog up the area between seats
otherwise looks good
Looks like a regular Jubilee train but with more annoying advertising boards.
And no mention of air conditioning. Long open carriages with no dividing door/window for that lovely tube line smell of cooler air we’re all used to.
Fewer seats? All for adaptable spaces but seats matter a lot.
I hate the Elizabeth line for the seating, especially when you take a large suitcase on board. There’s nowhere to put it, so you have to sit on the side seats and hold onto it with great difficulty, people beside you doing the same, cases often rolling into you. It’s so short sighted. I hope these carriages are better.
So they gonna be air conditioned? 😅
Still the cloth seats :barf:
And still the carpeted seats!!!
They’re missing the large vestibule areas by the doors with space for luggage. The Picc has a lot of large suitcases on it because of the traffic to/from Heathrow.
The multi-use areas with the flip seats don’t replace it; they’re not at every door, and people aren’t going to give up their seat for suitcases. So the suitcases will clog up the aisle by every door instead.
The only real improvement is the AC. Hopefully it actually works
Always fun to watch the moany fuckers. Never change reddit
New trains, but I think the tube will still be the same.
