   I say, why not both?

   We can ultimately solve the conflicts, the various socioeconomic crisis and climate change. But we have to will it. And it won’t even be that difficult, some will have to do sacrifices.. who are these some? The pooor, miserable, endangered millionaires and billionares, companies and ceos..

   Oh wait, so it’s actually good.

3. It’s what happens when Member States staff the EU with rejected, second-rate politicians. The structure of the Green Deal was never going to fly – too aspirational and wooly with the wrong incentives.

   They over legislated as a response to the social media clout of now-Palestinian-formerly-climate activist Greta. Now the Agri and Industrial sectors who have real and not transient clout are fed up. The way to earn climate kudos is not by imposing costs it’s by unleashing incentives. It works in China and even works in the US before the derailment campaign broke in.
