Becoming President of the United States isn’t solely selfless. (As if you didn’t already know that after seeing Donald Trump’s policies.) It turns out, that the presidency has had some major financial perks for Trump and his immediate family — including youngest son Barron, 19.
Forbes released a new analysis of the Trumps’ estimated net worth, and the numbers are staggering. Barron is now worth $150 million and is poised to make a lot more one day. According to the outlet, he helped coax his family to co-found World Liberty Financial and is big into crypto. The college sophomore has taken an estimated $80 million from token sales and holds an estimated 2.3 billion in locked-up tokens which may gain him an estimated $525 million when they are unlocked.

It may be an eye-watering amount to us, but it’s pretty typical of celebrity nepo babies. A recent Posh Peanut report found that Beyoncé’s and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy has an estimated net worth of $755 million, Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West has $525 million, and Princess Charlotte has $1.7 billion. It’s hard to even wrap our brains around that much cash!
In the Forbes report, they stated that other Trump family members have benefited from Donald’s president. This includes Donald Trump Jr., with estimated net worth $500 million, Eric Trump, estimated $750 million, Ivanka Trump and her husband Jarad Kushner, estimated $100 million and $1 billion respectively, Melania Trump, $20 million+, and Donald Trump himself, at $7.3 billion, which Forbes noted has gone up $3 billion in just one year. The entire Trump family is worth an estimated $10 billion.
Barron recently started his sophomore year at NYU but reportedly left to join the NYU D.C. program so he could be closer to his parents. Inside sources told The New York Post earlier this month that he was accepted to this program, which combines coursework with internships and professional opportunities tied to the government. This indicates that Barron may be trying to follow in his father’s political footsteps.
With how lucrative a path into government has been so far for the Trump family, we wouldn’t be surprised at all if he pivoted in this direction.
