1. So attacking someone with a knife is no longer a serious crime?

   Especially when you attack that person for burning an object that results in no harm done to yourself other than mentally because of your fragile idea of your religion.

4. It’s tough to agree with the ruling – there’s clearly an argument for it being aggravated, as burning a religious text while hurling abuse with clear intent to provoke is just begging to get you punched in the face, but fetching a knife is an unacceptable escalation.

   Should have both been jailed with knife guy denied any access to utensils, and book guy denied any access to reading materials.

5. Great vigilante initiative by this proud minority vs a horrible racist, a great example of cultural enrichment benefiting our community.

7. Don’t even consider myself as someone on the right, but attacking and waving a bladed knife toward not resulting in a custodial sentence is just mind boggling to me.

9. Enriching knife it must have been, fair play. Some people seem to be allowed to slash people and call for deaths while others can’t.
