I was just absolutely flabbergasted by this. This was a random quran burning I believe, no aannouncement beforehand. Yet there was a muslim nearby willing to wield a knife. For this to happen you need;
1. A muslim nearby.
2. He must be armed with a knife.
3. Willing to ruin his own life by risking prison time for stabbing.
And yet it happend. I was flabbergasted because it made me realize that the % of muslims willing to do point 3 is probably a lot higher than many of us would estimate. This mindset of instantly willing to kill because your precious little book got hurt must be pretty widespread if a quran burner gets a guy with a knife running at him before the fucking book is burned.
