America is mental sometimes. How come we don’t have crimes like this – obviously a larger population, but should we not then have a proportionate number of the same crimes?
Poor woman!
She was killed on September 11th and suspect is being held at the ‘Twin Towers’ correctional facility. 🧐
My husband won a week in (I think?) New York as a prize for his excellent tech work. He declined the offer.
That was a few years back and we’re united in saying we wouldn’t go if we were paid, never mind the free holiday. Even worse now the orange dementor is in charge.
Will never understand the appeal of America, that poor woman
As an ex-policeman in a large city, and a frequent visitor to Glasgow, you are right. Walking home after a long night in Glasgow, I’ve never felt safer!! But in the US I have that “feeling” to watch my six …. All the time.
