  7. This is a bit different to the recent Russian incursions in Europe.

    These planes are in international airspace and won’t cross into US territory. These kinds of flights close to US airspace are actually pretty routine, and occur several times a year.

    The recent incursion into Europe were special, but this is just completely normal
