  1. ‘An MP found guilty this month of molesting a 15-year-old boy advised the government on child sexual exploitation while under police caution, the Guardian can disclose’.

  2. Who better to be advising than a man with years of experience?

He could well be the only Tory MP doing a government role who has experience related to their position.

  3. It’s the political equivalent of those paedophile hunters who end up getting caught in a sting themselves. They think themselves invincible and beyond suspicion so hide in plain sight.

  4. They’re always in the place you suspect the most. Honestly what goes through these peoples minds must go something like ‘yeah I like boys, but where do I find them…?’ Oh I know! I should probably take that gig advising the government on grooming gangs, that sounds like a great place to start, seeing as ya know, I like kids…’

Can’t make this shit up unfortunately.

  5. Where are all the right-wingers who obsessively post about grooming gangs? They go very quiet when Tories are involved, almost as if they never really cared at all and just wanted an excuse to be racist.

  6. Just to note, the tories were made aware of the allegations before they selected him as an MP.

If they chose to still select him, that’s one thing. But even if you think the allegations are nonsense, wouldn’t you want to give a guy accused of molesting kids literally any other job in parliament?

  7. > Imran Ahmad Khan, the then Conservative MP for Wakefield, joined an expert panel offering advice on grooming gangs

In their defence, he’s clearly an expert on the subject. /s

  8. You sure he was on a panel “advising on grooming gangs” and not “advising grooming gangs”?

Or did he just overlook the “on” when he ticked this entry in the “I’d like to work with” list?
