Cian Brown, an upper sixth Carmel College student, has been the North of England’s top BMX racer for five years and is currently ranked 12th in Great Britain.
The BMX enthusiast began racing at seven and has since gathered 11 years of experience.

To keep up his competitive edge, Cian, 18, trains four times a week at Merseyside BMX Club and undergoes personal training sessions.
He frequently participates in regional and national competitions, aiming to qualify for the BMX Racing World Cup in Sarrians, France, next year.
This marks a significant step towards his goal of becoming the best BMX track rider in Great Britain.
Besides his sporting endeavours, Cian is studying Dual BTEC Sport and A-Level Graphic Design at Carmel.

Balancing his rigorous training and academic commitments, Cian, from Prescot, has found support from his college.
Looking to the future, Cian hopes to either secure a Degree Apprenticeship or pursue Sports Science at Liverpool John Moores University.
With his dedication and passion for BMX, Cian is poised for a bright future both on and off the track.
