McGrath’s. Mainly because it’s a third the price and tastes better.
Black label Barry’s tea ftw!!
I’m a big fan of rooibos tea but Lyons or Barry’s tea is a safe bet always.
Earl Grey.
Tetley
Where’s the red Punjana? I honestly haven’t tried the green one yet.
Aldis gold blend is very good, but i recently got the bewleys and its actually really really nice, my new favorite.
Bewley’s Sencha. But you can’t fucking get it ANYWHERE anymore.
Hate to white knight for the old enemy but can I say anything in favour of Yorkshire tea?
Campbell’s. It’s expensive but just so much better than everything else.
Black Arctic Fire tea.
A cool, minty flavour with subtle undertones of fruit, blended with China-Ceylon teas and blue cornflowers.
Black Tea (Camellia Sinensis) Cornflower Blossoms(CentaureaCyanus)
Lyons gold blend
Barry’s then Lyons. Hate Bewleys.
Bewley’s for me. Barry’s is by far the most accessible in Canada though, so I usually get that.
What the fuck are those other three?
Lyon’s or Barry’s only for me please.
Tesco value
The bewleys Dublin morning tea is actually really good, but I drink the Lyons gold blend as regular tea. I use the loose leaf because I have one of them one person pots with the filter and I hate throwing away soggy teabags.
Barry’s!!! Only acceptable answer
Used to drink Barry’s gold, then switched to Lyons because the tea bags were compostable quite like it, then Barry’s made theirs compostable however tasted like muck after drinking lyons for the last few months and didnt switch back.
Barry’s black label or Punjana
Lyons original
Lyons
Funny story – my mam was from Cork City and moved 2 hours away when she married my dad. She won a car with lyons tea in the late 80s. They went up to dublin to collect the car and it was a big day out, newspaper photographer etc. When asked by the lyons people why she bought lyons tea her answer was “because the shops where I live now don’t sell barrys”. That was her way of putting this debate to bed lol
