  2. Coal plants are not economical so republicans are using government funds to keep it all. Meanwhile conservatives will tell you that renewables and EVs should be abandoned because they rely on subsidies

  3. It’s so wild to me that we created these “emergency” powers, but no rules around what an “emergency” actually was.

    It’s basically a whole extra set of executive branch powers that they can use as long as they… want to use them. That’s the gate, they just have to want to use them.
