Construction of the bridge, which spans the Vltava River in Prague, started in 1357 under the rule of King Charles IV, and was finished in the early 15th century. It has been featured in many films, including two of the “Mission: Impossible” movies and “Spider-Man: Far From Home.” In the instance caught in this photograph, the woman was brought to tears of happiness as she accepted the proposal.
