Tri-County Partners Habitat for Humanity
Tri-County Partners Habitat for Humanity is raising funds through hosting its third annual benefit concert at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, at Foundry Vineyards, 1111 Abadie St.
The Keys for Homes concert will directly benefit Habitat for Humanity and its current affordable housing project in Walla Walla. Tickets are required and can be purchased online at tinyurl.com/4rxnvp6s.
During the event, Jim-Isaac Chua will perform and appetizers, wine and beverages will be available for purchase.
Baker Boyer Bank
Baker Boyer Bank promoted Jonathan Stiffler to chief information security officer and vice president for Baker Boyer.
Prior to joining the company in August 2024, Stiffler worked in Grafenwoehr, Germany where he gained experience in safeguarding systems against cyber security threats.
Mark Kajita, president and CEO of Baker Boyer, wrote in a news release, “(Stiffler’s) promotion reflects both the importance of information security in today’s world and the tremendous value he brings to our leadership team.”
Blue Mountain Humane Society
The Blue Mountain Humane Society, Walla Walla Toyota Place and Elkhorn Media Group partnered to connect animals with potential owners on Sunday, Sept. 14. During the adoption event, 24 pets — 12 cats and 12 dogs — found new caretakers.
