  1. Come on Eileen, you should show how it looks in the winter. Not having to plough busy pedestrian zones, shop staff not having to deal with wet floor, and hospitals not filling up with elderly people with broken pelvic bones. This is precisely the thing that the Romans would’ve done, had they ever ventured further north.

    Japan spreads salt on roads to prevent ice from forming there.

  3. So they make ice fields from all the melted snow in the middle of the street?

  4. Tried this in ostersund sweden, didn’t go well. Just turns to ice.
