BRF news this week is so X-Files and I want to believe 😆
or nosy busybodies who are making $ on the drip of information they can get hold of
Seems like eveybody thinks everybody is sabotaging.
i know its all he knows but i really cant imagine living this way
The press are probably making it all up
I think two things can be possible. The British media is a toxic, poisonous cesspool. I also think Harry is overly paranoid. It’s not entirely his fault, I’m sure his childhood and what happened to his mom really affected him. He seems convinced that the entire British government and every single British journalist is out to ruin him.
All of this is just very sad honestly.
The Sun yesterday had this Matt Wilkinson piece (the article has been edited since his statement)
> Harry was surprised by the formalities of his recent reunion with the King — and even joked he felt more like an “official visitor” than a family member, we can reveal.
> Sources close to Harry this morning deny that Harry has said – or believed – that the reunion was like being “an official visitor”.
> A spokesman said: “While we would have preferred that elements of the meeting such as the exchange of gifts was not revealed, for clarification purposes gifts were exchanged and a photo from the Duke to his father was given but it was not of him and his wife.”
> He handed his father a framed photograph of their children Archie and Lilibet to mark their reunion – but Harry and Meghan were not in the family photo.
(It’s been edited since his spokesman made a statement said something else prior but I can’t recall the exact verbiage)
Seems Harry is also now responding to the claims he is behind the leaks.
And is also denying he is behind the “efforts” to drive a wedge between Charles and William.
> Harry’s spokesman said: “Categorically not. Harry is not trying to drive a wedge between the Prince of Wales and the King.”
ETA: the BBC article includes a statement from the outlet:
> The Sun newspaper said Prince Harry had confirmed aspects of its reporting. It said the duke’s office “was given full right of reply yesterday in advance of publication and opted not to give a response to the Sun’s carefully sourced account of the meeting”.
> The Sun newspaper said Prince Harry had confirmed aspects of its reporting. It said the duke’s office “was given full right of reply yesterday in advance of publication and opted not to give a response to the Sun’s carefully sourced account of the meeting”.
Meaning, they wanted his cooperation so they could use his quotes to sell their newspaper and make it look like he’s cooperating with them. This reminds me of when that Australian reporter tried to out Rebel Wilson. She came out on Instagram instead before he could publish. Then he complained that he’d given her the opportunity to tell him first. (So he could have the exclusive.) Trying to force Harry to speak to them is so similar in my mind. He doesn’t need to, so he doesn’t.
The RF are trying to distract from their involvement in the Epstein files. Everyone should be outraged that they haven’t asdresssd this. Instead they are still angry Harry married a Black woman.
100 articles about Harry meeting his Dad for tea. it’s absolutely insane.
Ooh! I didn’t see your post before I made the same one, so I deleted mine.
I think this is so interesting, coming from the BBC after yesterday’s conspiracy against the monarchy articles. It makes me laugh and, like, mentally high-five the Sussexes for going to a source like BBC to ensure people took it more seriously and to give it more media authority than the articles from yesterday. Personally, I think everyone in that family needs to laugh more articles off, but at least this was an interesting move in this weird and petty media game that group plays. Lol
🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
At some point, Harry’s gonna have to pause and go“Okay, maybe, just maybe, airing every single grievance in public might be making reconciliation a little difficult.”
He really seems convinced there’s this grand, coordinated establishment plot against him. And I mean, maybe we’ll all be proven wrong and there is. But also…no. I don’t think the “People In Power” are laughing about how to deny him security. That has been a legal migraine for years. No one’s rubbing their hands going, “Ah yes, today we leak to the Mail… tomorrow, we leak that Harry… (spins wheel)… fell down the stairs and accidentally penned a manifesto calling for the abolition of the monarchy from Times Square. Perfect.”
I honestly feel bad for him sometimes. He just comes off so paranoid. And maybe I’m too cynical, but sometimes things really are just what they look like. Charles is the monarch. He’s also sick. He has a schedule full of constitutional obligations and ceremonial events. William’s next in line, has a recovering wife, and three kids. They all have enough on their plates without needing to throw in an emotional reunion storyline.
And I mean, in all seriousness, what does anyone stand to gain from sabotaging it? This whole thing has dragged out for years. Reconciliation doesn’t have to mean H&M return to the balcony or whatever. A yearly visit to Balmoral, idk. Everyone’s annoyed and quiet.
Do the tabloids need clicks? Absolutely. Could someone in the palace leak? Sure. Could the media have just invented a dumb story about Harry’s meeting to generate 24 hours of rage clicks and move on? Also yes.
Idk. The whole thing is a mess. Hopefully they all find peace.
In other news bacon is delicious.
Also on a lighter note can someone make a flowchart about who’s sabotaging who based on nothing but daily mail headlines

Dear Harry. You did the dirty on us. Stay away. We loved you, we loved your wife until you tore our RF down. Be gone and stay gone. If you need to stay in a castle, Excalibur has excellent room rates.

I think Harry’s trying to get his foot back in the door before Charles dies, because he knows William won’t be so sympathetic to him. Right now, Charles is the king and a sick man, so he needs to be getting back in his good graces quickly. Once Charles is gone; I don’t see William being willing to throw the doors open for Harry.

Or maybe he is sabotaging himself?🤷🏼♀️
Good for Harry for speaking out and going to a legit news source. The stories coming out about their reconciliation has been absurd. If I had to guess it’s royal reporters with the help of royal aides or advisors who don’t want a reunion. Don’t think King Charles or even Prince William has anything to do with it.
…and already he can’t help but talk about the meeting. It bodes really well for any expectation of privacy from his dad. 🙄
I think Harry’s pretty good at sabotaging himself. He needs no help from anyone else.
All his statement does is make the original story seem more legitimate. Like the sun was right about there being a framed family photo given and a gift received so why assume they’re wrong about the rest of it?
Then why is he whinging about them not paying for his security?

He never made his dad a priority.
