Now I wish she was a candidate so I could vote for literally anyone else.
So she’s just confirmed it was deliberate. Fucking delighted she didn’t get on the ballot now. Regardless of her views we don’t need some President with a sense of entitlement the same as Trump

She’s very vocal that her lack of a nomination removes a choice from a large group of the population. Fine – but the rules are clear.
What comes across most clearly in this profile is her lack of interest in serving on behalf of any citizen not part of her wobbly base.

Bonkers bag choice. Regardless of “left/right” or “liberal/conservative”, the president should be able to connect with as many Irish people as possible.

There’s plenty of rich Irish people who own lovely and very expensive things and we have no problem with it. But OTT bling is considered cringe in Ireland…for the most part.
In saying all this, we do have a culture of uniformity that is negative. So many treenage young lads wearing the same grey tracksuit with the same haircut and so many girls also dressing the same, lacking individuality isn’t great either. The concept of ‘notions’ if you wear something different to the norm is problematic.
