  1. Hopefully this’ll be a temporary thing with the actual tube line taking over relatively soon.

  2. It should be called the Bakerpoop service because of the bus colour

  3. Don’t ask me to explain it because I can’t, but this bus looks like it would taste amazing

Edit: maybe it’s brown/white liquorice allsorts, maybe it’s biscuit related, I really can’t tell… the colour combo just has a hold on me

  4. I like that as a concept, and it’s smart to carry on the colour/branding to tie it in with the line. I actually quite like the scheme, though if you’d described it on paper I’d have suggested it sounds minging! Hope the project cracks on.

  5. What I like is that its name is a portmanteau of a portmanteau. TFL’s own syncretism now only makes sense as itself — if you expand it out fully it no longer works.

Where does the Baker Street & Waterloo Loop go?   Lewisham.

  6. It’s an interesting idea for me. They get actual numbers for internal use or for DfT. Are there any other extensions they would like to do? I’ve only heard of plans for Bakerloo, DLR somewhere and Crossrail 3.

  7. I mean this in a complimentary way, but this photo reminds me of those CG renders you get of architects projects and such when they want to show off the plans for a new building/site and you have people walking in the sun around the proposed new building.

  8. Doing anything else expect bringing more of the tube into south east London

  9. Already nicknamed the “BakerPoo” bus for obvious reasons

  10. Shocked this wasn’t posted by u/HighburyAndIslington
