Hello r/belgium,

Today my fiancée and I crossed Belgium on our motorcycles.

Unfortunately, we forgot one of our backpacks at this exact location at around 7 PM:

We realized it about 10 minutes later and immediately went back, but the backpack was already gone.

We spoke to many people and drove through the nearby villages and small towns, but nobody had seen it. We also went to the nearest police station to ask if someone had turned it in.

The backpack doesn’t contain anything of monetary value, but it holds items of great sentimental value to us.

If you know someone who lives in the area, may have found a backpack, or has any idea of what we could do, please let us know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  1. It fell in the ditch, retrieve it tomorrow when the sun comes up.

  3. Check police station and/or city hall. Thats usually where lost & found ends up. That is if it is found by honest people.. =/ I ld also check nearest public bins, maybe they only wanted the backpack & dumped everything else =s

  4. Maybe check on Facebook if there is a group for nearest villages and post it there, you’ll have more luck than on Reddit, it’s not really the most popular social media in Wallonia.
