And rightwingers are wrongly blaming the Greens for it. This is the result of conservative, right politics of the CDU/CSU, ignoring the realities of technological progress.

Any chance these factories could be repurposed for the defence industry?
Should have taxed Chinese vehicle imports. Right now China is undercutting every European car manufacturer.
