Anna Huang confirmed her meteoric rise by winning the Lacoste Ladies Open de France, her second consecutive LET title. At just 16 years old, the Canadian finished two strokes ahead of Helen Briem and Casandra Alexander. Céline Boutier and Nastasia Nadaud, the top French women, finished a solid 8th in the event in Deauville.
Anna Huang strikes hard. A week after her first professional victory at La Sella, the Canadian repeats in Deauville by winning the Lacoste Ladies Open de France. At 16, the new star of the Ladies European Tour demonstrates remarkable maturity. On the Golf Barrière Deauville course, she builds to her victory with authority, notably thanks to two birdies on the last three holes, which seals her second title in the first division.

Germany’s Helen Briem and South Africa’s Casandra Alexander completed the podium, each two shots behind. Italy’s Alessia Nobilio, the early leader, struggled on the final day with a mere 70. Brianna Navarrosa, a former University of Southern California resident, finished fourth with an impressive 63 on Saturday, the best score of the week.
On the French side, Céline Boutier and Nastasia Nadaud finished an encouraging 8th place at home. Nastasia Nadaud has a fourth consecutive top 10 on the Ladies European Tour and is looking ahead to the LPGA Finals and a right to play in the world’s top division.
Camille Chevalier finished 14th with a round over par of 72. Anne-Lise Caudal finished 17th with one stroke more. A great weekend for Giselle Zhao, who finished 35th in her first national open. The Boulie player, still an amateur, recorded four birdies on her last six holes.
