  1. So they are implementing a different system for immigrants vs the rest of Finnish society. It’s a good way to really bring everyone together working towards are larger goal.

What would be the goal of punishing people who don’t have Finnish or Swedish languages skills? Make it harder to even afford lessons or be able to get to those via transport or online tutoring. Where is the concept of “this is a new language system we are going to try out, it should make it easier, more streamline and easier access” This government has zero f-ing ideas.

  2. This is great news. Those who REALLY wanna to integrate should get better benefits, those who do not, could just return or seen asyleum somewhere else?

  3. Equal taxes but no benefits once you lose the job or get sick.

Finland treats immigrants like tools, rather than human beings.

  4. I guess only for non-EU immigrants?

On one hand good to get people to learn Finnish, but this is also discriminating against otherwise well-integrated people who might have been working in Finland for a longer while.

  5. Soon immigrants will not get basic healthcare at the hospital unless they speak fluent Finnish or Swedish… Oh, you broke a leg? Too bad. No Finnish, no surgery.

  6. I really hope that Finland does not end up like Sweden with their problems.

Far-right is 95% only bad ideas but regarding immigration they were correct.

  7. Why immigrants are supposed to be served equal services as natives? They haven’t contributed to the society yet? Maybe after they get citizenship or have worked long enough they should be eligble to taxpayed services.

If you need services, you can pay for them or get health insurance for example. Go any other country and the situation is the same, you are not given everything for free or they don’t even have public services.
