When this incident occurred, but I needed to think about it first before writing about it.
Earlier thi smonth, Vice President J.D. Vance visited the Twin Cities. He came to pay his respects to the children who died in the Annunciation Catholic Church shooting, and to all those who were wounded.
But what reception did he get? A protest.

Both kids and adults showed up, some holding signs, all protesting for gun control.
It’s devastating when children die, especially when the cause of death is homicide. But when you stop to think about it, this is the wrong time for such a demonstration.
People are mourning enough the way it is. We don’t need to add to this.
