  1. Good luck and don’t forget to kick Russian traitors out of your country

  2. >Alternative Ion Ceban centre-left (social democracy) EU (soft)

about that “soft” EU… Ion Ceban is banned from entering the Schengen area… Ivan Ceban is a russian tool

    >”For national security reasons, Romania is enforcing a measure to not allow Ion Ceban and two other Moldovan citizens into its national territory,”

  3. >Democracy at Home (DA) Vasile Costiuc) union with Romania EU (strong)

Vasile Costiuc is aligned with AUR…

  4. Is there any place when I could check polling as voting goes on?

  5. Today could be the moment Moldova stops being a borderland and starts being Europe. Good luck, r/moldova

  6. I most want to point it that Ceban is most definitely not pro-EU. It’s the same brand of agent as Stoianoglo. They claim to be pro-EU while in effect being involved with the same pro-RU mafia.

  7. Can’t get over how “pro-Russian” parties are also described as “left-wing” on Wikipedia. You can’t have it both ways, you’re either in favour of a nationalist dictatorship, authoritarianism, censorship of the press and so on … or you’re on the political left, which is defined as the opposite of these things…

And yeah, I know, what Wikipedia means, when these characterisations are used. It means, they’re populist, pro-authoritarian but they also wanna increase social benefits to lur in key demographics. But such a stance doesn’t make you systematically left-wing. That’s just bullshit.

  8. Moldova banning two parties just before the election in my opinion is a horrible mistake. That’s something even Erdogan wouldn’t do. It doesn’t matter if they have ties to Russia, if they should have been banned it should have been earlier, you are effectively turning everyone against you to the point where even people who don’t want to vote will protest vote against the incumbents. It’s a huge step towards authoritarianism and people will see the pro EU party as pro authoritarian. There are virtually no other large pro European parties and as the only alternative many will vote for the smaller pro Russian parties purely off disliking them.

Overall I think the main party has done a terrible job at winning over the electorate. All the ethnic minorities hate the main party and completely distrust them and regional parliaments have been pretty disfunctional due to bans, to such an extent that even as someone who is pro EU voting for a party that doesn’t ban people might be the better choice for the people in those regions.

  9. what will happen if PAS gets a plurality, but just shy of majority?

  10. May Russia’s attempts to subdue your country fail.

  11. Just voted, guys. Thanks for all your support.
