I get the rest but lemon..Lemon makes it way better!
Sorry bro. I can’t have my mix without pikla.
Lets all be real here tho
Tirokafteri stin pitta is based
Re honestly pitta without ksidates piperies (pickled peppers) is not a proper pitta. Also how are you to eat it without oksinon (lemon), like you might as well not put salt in it.
* Ksidata: personal choice, I mean it’s usually put to the side so it can be discarded
* Pikla: same as above
* Lemon: lemon really enchances the flavour of the pitta especially if you put it on the meat and then drips down to it, although I can understand that if you have cyprus quality meat then you might not want to change the flavour because just by itself it tastes so good
* Tahini: TI STO 8KIAOLO KAMNEIS RE KOUROUPETE?!?!?!?
lemon! hmm, how about an entire raw onion? 😉
Its mostly regional though, lemesianoi like ksidata and pikla. Levkosiates like tashi. Also i know that varoshiotes like to put only onion, maitanons and kremidi not salad
Huge cultural shock after moving from Lemesos to butter town. Ordered a pitta and started eating it like a sandwich. Took a bite of a half lemon half onion combo. Indeed lefkosiates are anomaloi.
This must be settle before war world III end us!!
The half lemon thing…. Why re butter-people
Why not just put lemon juice and salt above my souvlakia? I saw this shit only in nicosia ngl, and its retarded af
Congratulations OP, you’re about to start a civil war
pikla and ksidata on the side though..not in the pitta
