Contactless and smartphone payments on Dublin Bus may be possible ‘late next year’

  1. Korea had that for the subway and busses for a long time, it’s so much easier. Tap your phone or watch off you go on the subway. No more rooting through your pockets for some random card and losing it a few times. Korea also has a great system for frequent users of the system in general, so you can use their subway or bus system and get free trips based on the timing. So if you like get off in 2 stops on the subway and take the bus it is like 2e or whatever.

  3. Why is everything like “next year” “by 2040” “in the future”

    Its never like, “yeah lads we’ll have that in a few weeks time !” Just get a fucking lad from the sticks in with a few chaps, pay them cash in hand, and it’ll be done before ya know it !
