    People dont even view themselves as british, even if born and raised here. People really said they’d leave ans go back to wherever X their families originate from.

    Plus, we’ve been hammered by society and governments for years to not be proud of our country and history, why would people want to fight for the state we are in?

  19. The army doesn’t even have enough vehicles to equip the regular army (16 howitzers for and in the future just 138 tanks for example), what exactly are these reserves meant to fight with?

  33. You have a lot of young strapping able body immigrant men that came over that would love to join the fight , that fled from other countries that didn’t want to fight .

  34. Who the fuck is going to invade us ?

    Russia are having a hard enough time with Ukraine, a country which they are on the same landmass. To get to us it’s not like we won’t see them coming, plus we have air and navy defences. And they will have to come through other European territories to get here.

    Oh and we have nukes. Which Ukraine gave up.

    Added to that joining reserve or cadets or whatever they want is going to do absolutely nothing against cyber attacks. If they want to combat that a better strategy would be pumping money into our tech sector.
