  4. Granted I should read the article but… duh? One of the biggest characters ever both in film and and in books being desired by actors who want to have their name out there and make a lot of money and have the chance to do many sequels p

  5. I don’t think it’s gonna be like, Adam West level camp, but we all know Gunn can’t really help himself within his style. I know Peacemaker is gritty, but it still has like that Gunn trademark. When I think of Batman within his style, it seems like it’s gonna be pretty tough to do.

    Give me a Whodunnit style detective story stating Batman. Call up Rian Johnson for help. NOT TO DO IT ALL! Do not give him control of another beloved franchise. Just some support.

    That’s a Batman story I think James Gunn would knock out of the park.

  13. Kinda the same problem plaguing DC comics for ages now. Everyone just wants to write Batman, and maybe one of the Gotham heroes, and no one else. So when they write for anyone who isn’t Batman, they try to turn them into batman, or use the comic as a platform to glaze Batman and shit on the person they are supposed to be writing about.

  25. I hope we get a ‘Brute’ type Batman again, similar to Ben Affleck’s portrayal. Batman is a heavyweight that can fight bare knuckled against Killer Croc and Bane.
