Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed its forces shot down 230 drones, six guided bombs, and several rockets fired from US-supplied HIMARS and Czech-made Vampire systems over the past day.
Russia’s Bryansk and Belgorod regions came under fresh attack in recent days, with Ukraine hitting both industry and energy infrastructure, local officials and Russian media reported.
In Bryansk, Governor Alexander Bogomaz warned overnight of a missile threat but gave no details. Russian independent outlet ASTRA, citing residents, reported that the Elektrodedal plant in Karachev was struck early on Monday, Sept. 29. The facility produces electrical connectors used in both military and civilian industries.
