I found some shaggy ink caps which I've eaten before and some horse mushrooms the very large ones. I'm going to make a mushroom soup which should do me for lunch this week.

  1. Again, don’t eat foraged food unless you know what you’re doing.

    You’ll be grand with the shaggy. It’s one of the easiest to id and doesn’t have a deadly lookalike.

    I’m less confident on your call of horse mushrooms. There’s room for doubt, particularly with the body shape.

    Given they can be found with the Death Cap and you’ve broken pieces, I’d put the whole lot in the bin.
