The Cost Coalition, a bipartisan group of Donald Trump adversaries, is throwing its support behind Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger, who has largely centered her campaign pitch to voters on addressing worries over affordability.
“For Virginia families concerned with rising cost of living, the choice in the November election is clear: Abigail Spanberger is a proven leader that is committed to fighting to lower costs,” Cost Coalition advisers Terry Holt, a Republican, and Andrew Bates, a Democrat, said in a statement. “Spanberger put Virginia’s working families first by opposing the Trump Administration’s tariffs that are raising prices and worsening inflation.”
